Fragments of Berlin

Filmed over a winter in Berlin’s former industrial districts, Fragments of Berlin follows a loose community of painters, musicians and makers who live and work inside buildings waiting to be demolished. The film moves slowly, letting rooms, light and routine tell the story of a culture that exists because it is temporary.
